KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.5, MZR 1.6]

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.5, MZR 1.6].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.5, MZR 1.6].)

3.  Remove the intake manifold. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.5, MZR 1.6].)

4.  Disconnect the KS connector.

5.  Remove the KS using the SST.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
