Caution
•  Because the output characteristics of the exhaust gas pressure sensor/exhaust gas pressure correction temperature sensor are adjusted while it is installed to the bracket, replace the exhaust gas pressure sensor/exhaust gas pressure correction temperature sensor and the bracket as a single unit.
Note
•  If the exhaust gas pressure sensor/exhaust gas pressure correction temperature sensor is replaced, always perform each adjustment procedure using the following steps.

Replace the exhaust gas pressure sensor/exhaust gas pressure correction temperature sensor.

Switch the ignition to ON.

Start the engine.
Verify that the MIL does not illuminate.

Switch the ignition to off.

Switch the ignition to ON. (Engine off)

Perform KOEO self test procedure.
7
Perform the exhaust gas pressure sensor data reset procedure.

Switch the ignition to off.

Wait for 20 s.

Start the engine.

Perform the diesel particulate filter assessment procedure.
Engine coolant temperature 60 °C {140 °F} or more

Switch the ignition to off.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

2.  Remove the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

3.  Disconnect the exhaust gas pressure sensor/exhaust gas pressure correction temperature sensor connector.

4.  Remove the exhaust gas pressure sensor/exhaust gas pressure correction temperature sensor. (See Exhaust Gas Pressure Hose Installation Note.)

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

1.  Install the exhaust gas pressure hose as shown in the figure.
