Sensor Output Value Inspection

Note

•  The guide blade actuator position sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the guide blade actuator position sensor, replace it together with the turbocharger as a single unit.

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Start the engine and warm up the engine completely.

3.  Command the VBCV PID from 0 to 100 % using the active command modes function. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [MZR-CD 2.2].)

4.  Verify that the VBC_POS PID reading change according to VBCV commanded value.

―  If not as specified, replace the turbocharger. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)
