Note

•  Perform the following test only when directed.

Voltage Inspection

Note

•  The fuel pressure sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the fuel pressure sensor, replace it together with the common rail as a single unit.

1.  Start the engine and warm up the engine completely.

2.  Measure the voltage between fuel pressure sensor terminals A and B at idle.

―  If as specified, go to the next step.

―  If not as specified, replace the common rail. (See COMMON RAIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

3.  Turn off the engine and wait three minutes.

4.  Switch the ignition to ON.

5.  Measure the voltage between fuel pressure sensor terminals A and B.
