Current Sensor No.1/Battery Fluid Temperature Sensor

Note

•  The battery fluid temperature sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the battery fluid temperature sensor, replace it together with the current sensor No.1/battery fluid temperature sensor as a single unit.

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

3.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

1	Nut
2	Negative battery cable
3	Wiring harness terminal
4	Current sensor No.1/Battery fluid temperature sensor connector
5	Current sensor No.1/Battery fluid temperature sensor

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Current Sensor No.2

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

3.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

1	Nut
2	Wiring harness terminal
3	Current sensor No.2 connector
4	Current sensor No.2 (See Current Sensor No.2 Installation Note.)
5	Negative battery cable

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Current Sensor No.2 Installation Note

Caution

•  Install the current sensor in the correct direction. If the current sensor is installed in the wrong direction, the current value may not be measured correctly and it could affect the engine controls.

1.  Route the wiring harness as shown in the figure.

2.  Wrap the position shown in the figure with insulating tape 5 times.
