REAR STABILIZER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

2.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Stabilizer, Rear Stabilizer Bushing and Rear Stabilizer Bracket Installation Note

1.  Install the rear stabilizer bushing so that the projection points to the left side of the vehicle.

2.  Install the rear stabilizer bracket.

3.  Install the rear stabilizer component to the vehicle.


Rear Stabilizer Control Link Under Side Nut Installation Note

1.  Verify the shape of the removed nut and if it is an A type, replace the nut with a new one.

Caution
•  Because the A type nut is a locknut, if the nut is reused it could loosen.

2.  Install and tighten the nut.

Tightening torque
A type: 44—60 N·m {4.5—6.1 kgf·m, 33—44 ft·lbf}
B type: 45—55 N·m {4.6—5.6 kgf·m, 34—40 ft·lbf}
C type: 80—105 N·m {8.2—10 kgf·m, 60—77 ft·lbf}


Rear Stabilizer Control Link Upper Side Nut Installation Note

1.  Verify the shape of the removed nut and if it is an A type, replace the nut with a new one.

Caution
•  Because the A type nut is a locknut, if the nut is reused it could loosen.

A type: 44—60 N·m {4.5—6.1 kgf·m, 33—44 ft·lbf}
B type: 45—55 N·m {4.6—5.6 kgf·m, 34—40 ft·lbf}
