NO.9 FREQUENT SHIFTING [DJVA-EL]
id050312247100
9 |
Frequent shifting |
---|---|
DESCRIPTION
|
• Gear ratio changes immediately by depressing accelerator pedal slightly in D range.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
This malfunction symptom is basically the same as, "No.8 Abnormal shifting (Shift pattern differs from normal)". (See NO.8 ABNORMAL SHIFTING (SHIFT PATTERN DIFFERS FROM NORMAL) [DJVA-EL].) However, other possibilities may first indicate an input signal error from the APP sensor, input/turbine speed sensor, VSS, primary pulley speed sensor, or secondary pulley speed sensor (including sensor ground, sensor wiring harness, and connector). The next possibility could be clutch slippage (clutch burning and line pressure decrease).
