Loud noise while driving in R, D, or M range/position

DESCRIPTION
•  Abnormal noise and vibration occurs from near ATX while driving.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The cause may be other than from the CVT, therefore lift the vehicle on a lift or use a dynamometer to locate the source of the abnormal noise and vibration.
Warning
•  Be careful when inspecting the vehicle on a lift or when using a dynamometer. Vibration from a vehicle on a lift or getting caught in moving parts (tires, roller) pose a danger.
•  Abnormal noise occurs from objects caught between the crossmember and CVT
•  Engine and CVT interfere with body caused by mount weakness or incorrect mount installation location
•  Exhaust pipe vibration
•  Abnormal noise from differential, belt or bearing in CVT
•  Tire unbalance or non-uniformity
•  Exhaust pipe installation hanger is installed to only one side.
