DESCRIPTION

• Engine speed drops to idle but vehicle coasts when accelerator pedal is released when in M position (1GR) at low vehicle speed.

Diagnostic procedure

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	INSPECT TCM FOR POOR GND • Switch the ignition to off. • Disconnect the TCM connector. • Visually inspect for pin deformity, open circuit, or wiring harness non-insulation between TCM terminal 1B and body GND. • Is there any malfunction?	Yes	Repair or replace any malfunctioning parts according to the inspection result.
