Purpose/Function
• The AT warning light illuminates when the transaxle has malfunction.
Construction
• The AT warning light is built into the instrument cluster.
Operation
• If the transmission has a malfunction, the TCM sends an AT warning light illumination request signal to the instrument cluster.
• The TCM illuminates the AT warning light for approx. 2 s after the ignition is switched ON to perform a bulb check of the automatic transmission warning light.
