Purpose

• Detects the vehicle height and outputs it to the AFS control module. (with AFS)

• Detects the vehicle height and outputs it to the auto leveling control module. (without AFS)

Function

• The hall sensor built into the auto leveling sensor generates hall voltage based on the power supply voltage from the AFS control module and outputs it to the AFS control module as a vehicle height signal. (with AFS)

• The hall sensor built into the auto leveling sensor generates hall voltage based on the power supply voltage from the auto leveling control module and outputs it to the auto leveling control module as a vehicle height signal. (without AFS)

Construction

• Installed to the rear lower arm and rear crossmember.

• The auto leveling sensor consists of link No. 1, link No.2, and the hall sensor.

Operation

1. If the auto leveling sensor links No.1 and 2 operate due to vehicle height change, the link angles change and the hall sensor moves.

2. If the hall sensor moves, a magnetic field in the hall sensor changes and the hall voltage (vehicle height signal) changes.
