ECO DRIVE MONITOR DISPLAY

Purpose
• The ECO drive monitor displays the results of the driver's driving determined from the ECO gauge to inform the driver.
Function
• The ECO drive monitor displays the following information based on the ECO determination results from the PCM:

― Estimated ECO
ECO score

• The ECO score is displayed as the percentage of the ECO determination results from engine start (ignition switch: ON) to the present.
• The ECO score is updated every 1 min.
Estimated ECO

• The estimated ECO is displayed graphically as the ECO score from engine start (ignition switch: ON) to the present.

• The average ECO score every 5 min for the previous 60 min is displayed using a broken line.
Construction
• The trip computer displays the following information in the multi information display.
• ECO drive monitor display and value calculation are performed by the PCM microcomputer.
Operation
1. The PCM sends the display content calculated from the vehicle speed signal and accelerator opening angle to the instrument cluster as an ECO determination signal.
2. When an ECO determination signal is received, the instrument cluster sends it to the multi information display.
3. When an ECO determination signal is received, the ECO score and estimated ECO are displayed in the multi information display.
