GPS ANTENNA FEEDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Type A

1.   Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [MZR 1.6].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Center speaker grille (See SPEAKER GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)  Global positioning system (GPS) antenna (See GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM (GPS) ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)  Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(4)  Decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(5)  Center display (See CENTER DISPLAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  While pressing the clip tabs in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the GPS antenna feeder in the direction of the arrow (2) to detach the clip tabs from the dashboard.

4.  Remove the GPS antenna feeder.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.


Type B

•  The GPS antenna feeder is integrated with the global positioning system (GPS) antenna.
•  When replacing the GPS antenna feeder, replace the global positioning system (GPS) antenna.
