Procedure Before i-ELOOP-Related Part Servicing

Warning
•  If the terminal of one of the i-ELOOP-related parts contacts the vehicle body with the service plug of the capacitor (i-ELOOP) connected, it could cause a fire and damage to electrical parts. In addition, if the terminal contacts your body, it could cause electrocution. Disconnect the service plug of the capacitor (i-ELOOP) before disconnecting the i-ELOOP-related part terminal. (See SERVICE PLUG DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [i-ELOOP].)
―  For the i-ELOOP-related part terminals, refer to the “PROCEDURE BEFORE i-ELOOP-RELATED PART SERVICING”. (See PROCEDURE BEFORE i-ELOOP-RELATED PART SERVICING [i-ELOOP].)

Troubleshooting Procedure

•  If there is any vehicle malfunction complaint lodged by a customer, perform malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure.

Action for Non-repeatable Malfunction

•  If the malfunction does not recur, verify the malfunction cause by performing the following actions:
―  Based on the repair order form, attempt to drive the vehicle or perform tests to replicate the malfunction, record the data (such as DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP) circuit voltage) at that time, and detect the malfunction cause.
―  Shake the wiring harness or connector of the electrical component which is suspected to be the cause of the malfunction, and inspect for malfunction or occurrence of any DTCs.
