DETECTION CONDITION

• U1900, U2523
- Communication error with PCM is detected in CAN communication.
• U2012
- CAN system wiring harness open or short circuit is detected.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• CAN system wiring harness open or short circuit with PCM
• PCM malfunction

Diagnostic procedure

• Inspect according to diagnostic procedure in Section 09. (See DTC TABLE [MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM].)
