LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR CONSTRUCTION

• The following parts are built into the latch and lock actuators of each door and liftgate:

- A latch switch that turns on/off with the opening/closing of the door or liftgate.

• When the door or liftgate is open, the latch switch is on.

• When the door or liftgate is closed, the latch switch is off.

- A lock actuator that latches/unlatches the latch.

• The following parts are built into the lock and latch actuator of the driver-side door:

- Door key cylinder switch

- Door lock-link switch

• The following parts are built into the trunk lid latch and lock actuator:

- A latch switch that turns on/off with the opening/closing of the trunk lid.

• When the trunk lid opens, the trunk lid latch switch is on.

• When the trunk lid is closed, the trunk lid latch switch is off.

- An opener that latches/unlatches the latch.
