OBD DRIVE MODE [MZR-CD 2.2]

•  Performing the Drive Mode inspects the OBD system for proper operation and must be performed to ensure that no additional DTCs are present.
•  During Drive Mode, the following systems are inspected:
―  P0101:21 MAF sensor range/performance problem (Excessively-high intake airflow amount)
―  P0101:22 MAF sensor range/performance problem (Excessively-low intake airflow amount)
―  P0106:00 Boost sensor range/performance problem
―  P0133:00 A/F sensor circuit problem
―  P0154:00 A/F sensor circuit no activity detected
―  P0181:00 Fuel temperature sensor circuit range/performance problem
―  P0401:00 EGR flow insufficient detected
―  P0402:00 EGR flow excessive detected
―  P2227:00 BARO sensor range/performance problem
Caution
•  While performing the Drive Mode, always operate the vehicle in a safe and lawful manner.
•  When the M-MDS is used to observe monitor system status while driving, be sure to have another technician with you, or record the data in the M-MDS using the PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD function and inspect later.

1.  Start the engine and warm it up completely.

2.  Verify that all accessory loads (A/C, headlights, blower fan, rear window defroster) are off.

3.  Drive the vehicle 5 times in the driving mode indicated in the figure on a road with a 0% gradient.

4.  Stop the vehicle.

5.  Verify no DTCs are available.
