COOLING FAN MOTOR INSPECTION [MZR-CD 2.2]

Part Inspection

1.  Verify that the battery is fully charged. (See BATTERY INSPECTION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

2.  Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector (4 terminals).

3.  Install a tester and battery to the cooling fan motor connector (4 terminals) as shown in the figure.

4.  Verify that each cooling fan motors operate smoothly at the standard current.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the applicable part.
Cooling fan motor No.1 standard current
High: 7.7—10.7 A [12 V]
Middle: 6.2—9.2 A [12 V]
Low: 5.0—8.0 A [12 V]
Cooling fan motor No.2 standard current
High: 7.5—10.5 A [12 V]
Middle: 6.1—9.1 A [12 V]
Low: 4.9—7.9 A [12 V]
