NONRETURN VALVE INSPECTION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5]

1.  Complete the “BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION”. (See BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

2.  Remove the nonreturn valve. (See FUEL TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

3.  Move the valve and verify that the valve opens to 90°.

•  If it does not open, replace the nonreturn valve. (See FUEL TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

4.  Verify that the nonreturn valve returns to the normal position by spring force.

•  If it does not return, replace the nonreturn valve. (See FUEL TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)
