EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

2.  Drain the engine coolant from the radiator. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

3.  Remove the air cleaner and the air hose as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

4.  Remove the radiator hose (upper, engine side). (See RADIATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.8, MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5].)

5.  Disconnect the EGR valve connector.

6.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
