Resistance Inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI].)

3.  Disconnect the EGR valve connector.

4.  Measure the resistance between the EGR valve terminals.

Terminals	Resistance (ohms)
C—E C—A D—B D—F	8—9

•  If not within the specification, replace the EGR valve. (See EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI].)
