DETECTION CONDITION
•  U0001:88
―  Open or short circuit in CAN system wiring harness is detected.
•  U0100:00
―  Communication error with PCM is detected in CAN communication.
•  U0101:00 (ATX)
―  Communication error with TCM is detected in CAN communication.
•  U0140:00
―  Communication error with BCM is detected in CAN communication.
•  U0155:00
―  Communication error with instrument cluster is detected in CAN communication.
•  U0214:00 (With advanced keyless entry and push button start system)
―  Communication error with keyless control module is detected in CAN communication.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Malfunction in CAN communication line
•  Malfunction in each control module connecting to CAN communication line
•  CAN system wiring harness open or short circuit with PCM
•  CAN system wiring harness open or short circuit with TCM
•  CAN system wiring harness open or short circuit with BCM
•  CAN system wiring harness open or short circuit with instrument cluster
•  CAN system wiring harness open or short circuit with keyless control module


Diagnostic procedure

•  Inspect according to diagnostic procedure in BODY & ACCESSORIES. (See FOREWORD [MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (L.H.D. (EXCEPT MZR-CD 2.2, MZR 2.0 DISI))].)
