BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [A26M-R]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

2. Remove the aerodynamic under cover No.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3. Drain the oil from the transaxle. (See TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [A26M-R].)

4. Disconnect the back-up light switch connector and remove the back-up light switch.

5. Install the back-up light switch (with a new gasket) to the transaxle case.

Tightening torque

29—52 N·m {2.9—5.3 kgf·m, 21—38 ft·lbf}

6. Connect the back-up light switch connector.

7. Add the specified amount and type of oil. (See TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [A26M-R].)

8. Install the aerodynamic under cover No.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

9. Connect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)
