• Inspect the following systems and electrical parts.
• Are they okay?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No
|
Repair or replace malfunctioning part, then go to Step 6.

CHECK TO SEE WHETHER MALFUNCTION IS IN BLOWER UNIT OR ELSEWHERE
• Switch the ignition to ON.
• Turn fan switch on.
• Recirculate air inside vehicle.
• Does fan in blower unit rotate smoothly?

Yes

Go to Step 4.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.

INSPECT BLOWER UNIT
• Inspect fan in blower unit.
• Is fan okay?
|
Yes
|
Go to the next step.

No
|
Remove obstruction, repair or replace fan and blower unit case, then go to Step 6.

INSPECT BLOWER UNIT INTAKE VENT
• Is blower unit intake vent clogged?
|
Yes
|
Go to the next step.

No
|
Inspect if there are any obstructions in passage between blower unit and A/C unit, then go to Step 6.

INSPECT PASSAGE BETWEEN BLOWER UNIT AND A/C UNIT
• Inspect if there are any foreign materials or obstructions in passage between blower unit and A/C unit.
• Is there any obstructions detected?

Yes

Remove obstruction, go to the next step.

No
|
Replace the climate control unit.

VERIFY THAT MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM OCCURS AFTER REPAIR
• Does air blow out?

Yes
|
Troubleshooting completed.
Explain repairs to customer.
