DTC B00D5:55

id080200826900

Note
•  If a PAD indicator light bulb is installed to the vehicle without a PAD switch, the SAS control module detects DTC B00D5:55.

System Malfunction Location

•  Configuration setting error (PAD indicator light bulb structural malfunction)

Detection Condition

Warning
•  Detection conditions are for understanding the DTC outline before performing an inspection. Performing an inspection according to only the detection conditions may cause injury due to an operating error, or damage the system. When performing an inspection, always follow the inspection procedure.
•  Voltage of SAS control module terminal 3L (PAD indicator light output) is specification or more with the configuration setting for the SAS control module having no PAD indicator light

Possible Causes

•  PAD indicator light bulb is installed to a vehicle with no PAD indicator light setting configured
•  PAD indicator light connector malfunction
•  SAS control module connector malfunction
•  Circuit between the PAD indicator light and SAS control module is malfunctioning (short to power supply)
•  SAS control module internal malfunction

No
Go to the next step.
3
INSPECT WIRING HARNESS BETWEEN SAS CONTROL MODULE AND PAD INDICATOR LIGHT FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO POWER SUPPLY
•  Connect the negative battery cable.
•  Switch the ignition ON.
•  Measure the voltage of SAS control module connector terminal 3L.
Note
•  Measure the voltage while shaking the wiring harness between the SAS control module and PAD indicator light.
•  Can the voltage be measured?
Yes
Replace the wiring harness between the SAS control module and PAD indicator light, then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.
4
PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION
•  Switch the ignition to off.
•  Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more.
•  Make sure to reconnect all the disconnected connectors.
•  Connect the negative battery cable.
•  Switch the ignition ON.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS.
•  Is DTC B00D5:55 displayed?
Yes
Replace the SAS control module.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
