•  The AFS has a swivel function that adjusts the optical axis of the headlight horizontally, and an auto leveling function that adjusts vertically.

•  The swivel function changes the headlight optical axis to the direction in which the vehicle is advancing according to the amount of steering wheel operation and vehicle speed when the headlights are turned on, realizing optimum headlight beams.

•  The auto leveling function adjusts the headlight optical axis up or down in response to changes in load and passenger conditions to prevent blinding of oncoming vehicles from headlight glare and to assure a range of visibility.
