•  Remove the curtain air bag module to prevent damage before servicing.

1.  Rough cut area (A), drill the 75 locations indicated by (B) shown in the figure.

Caution

•  During rough cutting, be careful not to damage the side sill reinforcement.

2.  Remove the front pillar (outer).

3.  Rough cut area (C), drill the 24 locations indicated by (D) shown in the figure.

4.  Remove the front pillar reinforcement and hinge reinforcement.

5.  Rough cut area (F), drill the 8 locations indicated by (G) shown in the figure.

6.  Remove the front pillar (inner).

7.  Remove the spot weld sealer using a disc grinder.
