FUEL FILTER WATER DRAINING [SKYACTIV-D 2.2]

1.  Remove the fuel filter. (See FUEL FILTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Loosen the drain plug for the lower part of the fuel filter.

3.  Drain the water.

Caution

•  Sufficiently tighten the drain plug by hand. If the drain plug is not tightened sufficiently, it could cause fuel leakage.

4.  After draining the water, tighten the drain plug by hand sufficiently.
