With SCR system

Outline

•  The urea pump pumps and supplies AdBlue^® in the urea tank to the urea injector.

•  The urea pump siphons back the remaining AdBlue^® in the urea hose to the urea tank when the ignition is switched OFF.

•  SCR relay No.1 and SCR relay No.2 turn on according to the control signal from the dosing control unit, and the urea pump becomes operable.

Construction

•  The urea pump is installed in the urea tank.

•  The heater is built into the urea hose to prevent AdBlue^® from freezing.

Operation

Note

•  If the exhaust gas temperature is less than the specification, the urea pump does not pump.

Pumping

•  If the exhaust gas temperature is the specification or more, AdBlue^® is pumped by the dosing control unit.

Siphoning

•  To prevent AdBlue^® from freezing, the urea pump siphons back the AdBlue^® in the urea hose to the inside urea tank when the ignition is switched OFF.
