• Calculates the engine oil replacement period as an appropriate target period for replacing the engine oil.

• During shipment, the engine oil maintenance monitor function is stopped.
• The engine oil maintenance monitor function can be operated using the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS) or center display (with center display).
• The PCM performs the following calculations, and when any of the following exceed their specifications, it determines that the engine oil replacement period has been reached.

― Elapsed days
― Engine oil deterioration condition
• When the PCM determines that the engine oil replacement period has been reached, the wrench indication/wrench indicator light illumination request signal is sent to the instrument cluster.
