Purpose/Function

• Detects the variable nozzle open/closed condition as basic information for mainly boost control.

• Detects the variable nozzle open/closed condition and inputs it to the PCM as the variable nozzle opening angle signal.

Construction

• The variable turbine geometry turbocharger actuator position sensor is installed to the turbocharger.
