DETECTION CONDITION

•  Low tire pressure is detected.

FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION

•  Refer to “Fail-safe function table”. (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (TPMS)].)

POSSIBLE CAUSE

•  Low tire pressure

•  Instrument cluster malfunction

INSPECT THE TIRE PRESSURE

•  Inspect the tire pressure when the tires are cold.

•  Is the pressure as specified?
(See WHEEL AND TIRE SPECIFICATION.)

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Adjust the tire pressure to the specification when the tires are cold, then go to the next step.

(See TIRE PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT.)

VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTC

•  Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the instrument cluster.
(See CLEARING DTC [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (TPMS)].)

•  Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster DTC inspection.
(See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (TPMS)].)

•  Is the same Pending DTC present?

Yes

Replace the instrument cluster, then go to the next step.

No

Go to the next step.

VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT

•  Are any DTCs present?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

(See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (TPMS)].)

No

DTC troubleshooting completed.

1	INSPECT THE TIRE PRESSURE • Inspect the tire pressure when the tires are cold. • Is the pressure as specified? (See WHEEL AND TIRE SPECIFICATION.)	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Adjust the tire pressure to the specification when the tires are cold, then go to the next step. (See TIRE PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT.)
2	VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTC • Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the instrument cluster. (See CLEARING DTC [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (TPMS)].) • Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (TPMS)].) • Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Replace the instrument cluster, then go to the next step. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT • Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (TPMS)].)
3	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT • Are any DTCs present?	No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
