DTC	C0051:67		EPS control module
DETECTION CONDITION		•  DSC HU/CM receives steering angle neutral position reset signal after neutral position was set.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION		•  Refer to “Fail-safe Function Malfunction Contents”. (See DTC TABLE [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)].)
POSSIBLE CAUSE		•  EPS control module malfunction •  Signal errors from EPS control module due to rough road driving •  DSC HU/CM malfunction •  Poor connection at connectors (female terminal)
SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM		Not applicable

Diagnostic Procedure

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	VERIFY EPS CONTROL MODULE DTC •  Using the M-MDS, perform the EPS control module DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)].) •  Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)].) DTC troubleshooting completed, then go to the next step
		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED •  Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the DSC HU/CM. (See CLEARING DTC [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)].) •  Start the engine and drive the vehicle at 6 km/h {4 mph} or more. •  Gradually slow down and stop vehicle. •  Using the M-MDS, perform the DSC HU/CM DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)].) •  Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. •  If the malfunction recurs, replace the DSC HU/CM. (See DSC HU/CM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) Go to the next step.
		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT •  Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)].)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
