CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [D66M-R, D66MX-R]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Disconnect the clutch pedal position switch connector and wiring harness clip shown in the figure and set the wiring harness aside.

3.  Remove the clutch pedal position switch using the following procedure. (See Clutch Pedal Position Switch Installation Note.)

(1)  Rotate the clutch pedal position switch 45° counterclockwise.

(2)  Remove the clutch pedal position switch from the clutch pedal.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Clutch Pedal Position Switch Installation Note

1.  Insert a new clutch pedal position switch into the clutch pedal hole until the switch stops.

2.  Rotate the clutch pedal position switch 45° clockwise.

3.  Verify that the clutch pedal position switch is locked securely.
