Purpose, Function

• The rear sunshade raises/lowers the shade based on the rear sunshade switch ON signal.

Construction

• The rear sunshade consists of the following component parts:

― Rear sunshade control module

― Motor

― Position switch

― Link

― Lower arm

― Upper arm

― Shade

Operation

Raise

1. When the rear sunshade control module detects a rear sunshade switch ON signal, it drives (1) the motor.

2. When the motor is driven, the link moves in the direction of arrows (2) shown in the figure.

3. When the link moves in the direction of arrows (2) shown in the figure, the lower arm and upper arm move in the direction of arrows (3) and the shade raises (4). In addition, when the moved link separates from the position switch, the position switch turns off (5).

Lower

1. When the rear sunshade control module detects a rear sunshade switch ON signal, it drives (1) the motor.

2. When the motor is driven, the link moves in the direction of arrows (2) shown in the figure.

3. When the link moves in the direction of arrows (2) shown in the figure, the lower arm and upper arm move in the direction of arrows (3) and the shade lowers (4). In addition, when the moved link contacts the position switch, the position switch turns on (5).
