FRONT SEAT WARMER CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Warning

•  Handling a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the Workshop Manual before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). (See AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM].) 1.  Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK).

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Release the tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure using a remover tool.

4.  Remove the front seat warmer control unit in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure with the tab released.

5.  Disconnect the front seat warmer control unit connector.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
