DEFLECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Front Deflector

1.  Remove the fasteners.

2.  Remove the screws.

3.  Remove the front deflector in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure while detaching the hooks.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Deflector

1.  Remove the side step molding. (See SIDE STEP MOLDING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Remove the rivet using the following procedure.

(1)  Hold the rivet.

(2)  Set the following diameter drill to the drill.

Drill bit diameter

4.5 mm {0.18 in}

Caution

•  Always use a drill bit of the specified diameter when removing the rivet. If an inappropriate diameter drill bit is used, the rear deflector and the side step molding may be damaged.

(3)  Gouge off the rivet flange using a drill and remove the rivet.

(4)  Remove any rivet shavings from the rear deflector and the side step molding.

3.  Remove the rear deflector while detaching the tab.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
