Purpose

• By connecting a USB device to the USB power outlet, power is supplied to enable in-vehicle battery charging.

Function

• The USB power outlet supplies power to USB devices rated at 10.5 W (DC5 V, 2.1 A) or less maximum power consumption.

Structure/Construction

• The USB power outlet is located on the armrest of the second-row seat.

Operation

1. When the ignition is switched to ACC or ON (engine off or on), the start stop unit turns the ACC relay on (1).

2. When the ACC relay turns on, electric current flows (2) to the USB power outlet.

3. When the USB device is connected to the USB power outlet, power is supplied to the USB device.
