Removal Procedure

1.  Drill the spot welds in the 26 locations in area A shown in the figure and drill from the engine compartment.

2.  Drill the spot welds in the 6 locations in area B shown in the figure and drill from the front wheel housing.

3.  Using a belt sander, sand the arc-spot welds in the 4 locations in area C shown in the figure from the front wheel housing.

4.  Drill the spot welds in the 9 locations in area D shown in the figure and drill from the front wheel housing.

5.  Drill the spot welds in the 2 locations in area E shown in the figure and drill from the interior.

6.  Remove the wheel apron component.
