1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF, L3, L3 Turbo].)
2. Remove the fuel pump resister. (See FUEL PUMP RESISTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)
3. Verify that the continuity between the fuel pump resister terminal A and B is within the specification.
