CHECK VALVE INSPECTION [L3 Turbo]

1. Remove the check valve. (See EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) CONTROL SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)
2. Blow through the valve and verify that air flows as specified.

• If not as specified, replace the check valve.

The check valve is normal if the aeration to port B is 3.5 kPa/min {0.03 kgf/cm2·min, 0.5 psi/min} or less when 130 kPa {1.32 kgf/cm2, 18.9 psi} is applied to port A.
