VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (WITHOUT ABS) [G66M-R]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF, L3, L3 Turbo].)

3. Disconnect the vehicle speed sensor connector.

4. Remove the vehicle speed sensor.

5. Apply transaxle oil to a new O-ring and install it on a new vehicle speed sensor.

6. Install the vehicle speed sensor.

Tightening torque
7.8-11.0 N·m {80-112 kgf·cm, 69.5-97.2 in·lbf}

7. Connect the vehicle speed sensor connector.

8. Install the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF, L3, L3 Turbo].)

9. Connect the negative battery cable.
