• A ripple-shaped side impact bar has been adopted to improve rigidity in case of a collision.
• The inner construction of the door, including the power window regulator, inner handle, door speaker, harness and others, have been integrated into a single door module.
• Due to the integrated door module, weight reduction has been achieved for the whole door.
• Waterproofing of the inner door module parts is achieved due to sectional design.
• Fiberglass reinforced plastics have been adopted for the door module to improve the rigidity. Additionally in order to address environmental concerns, recycled materials are used in the module.
• A corrugated side impact bar has been adopted to improve rigidity in case of collision.
