DEFLECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Fully open the glass panel.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Turn the seaming welt and weatherstrip over.

4. Remove the sunroof seaming welt.

5. Remove the A-pillar trims.(See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL.)

6. Remove the B-pillar upper trims.(See B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

7. Remove the C-pillar trims.(See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [4SD, 5HB].)(See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WGN].)

8. Remove the D-pillar trims (WGN).(See D-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WGN].)

9. Remove the front map light.(See FRONT MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

10. Remove the rear map light.(See REAR MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

11. Remove the cargo compartment light (WGN).(See CARGO COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WGN].)

12. Remove the sunvisors.(See (SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

13. Remove the assist handle.(See ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

14. Remove the net anchor (WGN).

15. Remove the headliner.(See HEADLINER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [4SD, 5HB].)(See HEADLINER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WGN].)

16. Remove the screws.

17. Disengage the hooks.

(1) Press the rear end of each hook.

(2) After sliding the hooks rearward, press them upward.

18. Remove the deflector.

19. Install in the reverse order of removal.
