RECORD CONTINUOUS MEMORY DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA
• Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Engine off).
• Connect the WDS or equivalent to DLC.
• Retrieve all stored DTCs.
• Are there any DTCs present?

Yes
|
Record all stored DTCs (Continuous Memory DTC) and Freeze Frame Data on the repair order, then go to the next step.
|

No
|
Go to the next step.
|

VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION
• Check for related Service information availability.
• Is any related repair information available?
|
Yes
|
Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available Service information.
• If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.
|

No
|
Go to the next step.

|
PERFORM KEY ON ENGINE OFF (KOEO) SELF-TEST
• Start the engine.
• Warm up the engine completely.
• Turn off all electrical loads.
• Perform the KOEO SELF-TEST PROCEDURE.

• Are there any KOEO DTCs present?

Yes
|
Repair the KOEO DTC.
(See DTC TABLE [LF, L3])

No
|
Go to the next step.

PERFORM KEY ON ENGINE RUNNING (KOER) SELF-TEST
• Start the engine.
• Perform the KOER SELF-TEST PROCEDURE.
• Are there any KOER DTCs present?

Yes
|
Repair the KOER DTC.

No
|
• If any continuous memory DTC is present at Step 1, return to the applicable DTC troubleshooting procedure step.
• If no continuous memory DTC is present at Step 1, go to symptom troubleshooting.
