Failure Indication Function

• The AT warning light illuminates to alert the driver of a malfunction in the AT system.

Operation

• The AT warning light illuminates for approx. 2 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to the ON position. At this time, an AT warning light open circuit check is carried out.

• The AT warning light indicates if two or more of the four signals (M1-M4) from the TCM are input to the instrument cluster. When the TCM detects a malfunction in the AT system, it sends an on-signal to all M1 to M4 in the instrument cluster.
