• Is it okay?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Replace evaporator temperature sensor.

• Disconnect climate control unit connector (24-pin) and evaporator temperature sensor connector.
• Is there open circuit between following terminals of climate control unit connector (24-pin) and evaporator temperature sensor connector?

Repair wiring harness.

No
|
Go to next step.

• Is there short circuit to ground between terminal 1Q of climate control unit connector (24-pin) and terminal B of evaporator temperature sensor connector?

Yes
|
Repair wiring harness.
|
No
|
Connect climate control unit connector, then go to next step.
|
4
|
• Turn ignition switch to ON position.
• Measure voltage at terminal 1Q of climate control unit connector (24-pin).
• Is voltage approximately 5 V?
|
Yes
|
This system is normal at present. (Erase the past failure from memory.)
|
No
|
Replace climate control unit.
|
