BALANCE SPRING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Using a crescent wrench, remove the balance spring in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure from trunk lid hinge.

2.  Remove the LH side balance spring shown in the figure from the hooks.

3.  Remove the RH side balance spring shown in the figure from the hooks.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
