System malfunction location

•  U2300:54: Configuration error (data not received)
•  U2300:55: Configuration error (no configuration)
•  U2300:56: Configuration error (Ineffective/non-interchangeable data read)
•  U2300:64: Configuration error (error value read)
Detection condition
•  The vehicle control module detects configuration setting failure.
Fail-safe
•  Inhibits the mazda radar cruise control (MRCC) system control
•  Inhibits the smart brake support (SBS) system control
•  Inhibits the distance recognition support system (DRSS) control
Possible cause
Note
•  If the vehicle control module is replaced with a new one, the configuration is re-performed within 6 s after the ignition is switched ON (engine off).
•  After performing the configuration, DTC U2300:55 will be cleared if the ignition is switched ON (engine off) after the ignition is switched off.
•  Module configuration procedure was not completed properly
•  Correct data cannot be received from instrument cluster
•  Vehicle control module (V/C-module) malfunction

RECORD THE CAR CONFIGURATION DATA
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine off) and wait for 6 s or more.
•  Switch the ignition off (LOCK).
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
Go to the next step.

PERFORM DTC INSPECTION FOR VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (V/C-MODULE)
•  Clear vehicle control module (V/C-module) DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine on).
•  Perform the vehicle control module (V/C-module) DTC inspection using the M-MDS.
•  Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
If the malfunction recurs, go to the next step.
No
Go to Step 5.

PERFORM DTC INSPECTION FOR INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
•  Perform the instrument cluster DTC inspection using the M-MDS.
•  Are any DTCs present?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
After repairing the instrument cluster, perform the instrument cluster configuration.(See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA).)
Then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
•  Clear vehicle control module (V/C-module) DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine on).
•  Perform the vehicle control module (V/C-module) DTC inspection using the M-MDS.
•  Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
•  If the malfunction recurs, replace the vehicle control module (V/C-module).
Go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.
5
VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT
•  Verify other DTCs displayed.
•  Are any other DTCs output?
Yes
Perform the corresponding DTC inspection.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
