Description

•  The MRCC indicator light (green) is not illuminated even if the MRCC is operated.

Possible malfunction

•  The instrument cluster cannot illuminate the MRCC indicator light (green).
―  Instrument cluster malfunction (malfunction in MRCC indicator light (green) illumination circuit)
―  Connector connection malfunction
•  The vehicle control module cannot illuminate the MRCC indicator light (green).
―  Connector connection malfunction
―  False signal input from cruise control switch
―  Vehicle control module malfunction

INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
•  Turn off the MRCC warning light (amber) using the M-MDS instrument cluster active command modes WL+IL.
•  Are all the warning lights turned on/off?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the instrument cluster.

VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONNECTOR CONDITION
•  Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
•  Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
•  Is the connector normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the connector.

VERIFY VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE CONNECTOR CONDITION
•  Disconnect the vehicle control module connector.
•  Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
•  Is the connector normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the connector.

INSPECT CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH
•  Is the cruise control switch normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the cruise control switch.

INSPECT VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE
•  Is the vehicle control module normal?
Yes
Symptom troubleshooting is completed.
No
Replace the vehicle control module.
